Taylor McDonell

Why do you like to work at S.A.L.T.S.?: "SALTS is an incredible opportunity to explore untouched areas of God’s creation that many people would otherwise never get to experience, all while in a community that fosters relationships and encourages personal growth. There’s really nothing else like it."

Becky Lubbers

Why do you like to work at S.A.L.T.S.? "I love watching trainees feel safe enough to try new things - from big things like climbing our rigging, to little things like trying new foods. Being present to their courage is an honour and it brings me a ton of joy!"

Why do you like to work at S.A.L.T.S.? "I cherish the opportunity to encourage young adults to explore more about who they are. That through community and fellowship we can inspire one another to step beyond our comfort zones to learn what we are capable of. To seek trust, growth, and gratitude. All while being surrounded by the rich landscape of the West Coast.”

 

Trinda McNeill

  Position: Cook, Pacific Swift

Why do you like to work at S.A.L.T.S.? "I love seeing people engaging outside of their comfort zone. I find it draws them into community in deeper ways - makes them vulnerable with one another - and allows them to see things differently than they could have before. I feel like SALTS is one of those special places that takes people out of their comfort zone and facilitates growth, but at the same time welcomes people as they are and loves on them very well! I love getting to see the growing and shaping process of young minds and hearts."

Board of Directors

A dedicated group of volunteers provides policy governance oversight to our Executive Director. They are:
