Inside Passage

Trip 2 - Both Ships

Trip Highlights

  • Spectacular highlights from remote Desolation Sound mixed with exploration further up the coast closer to the rugged northern tip of Vancouver Island and possibly beyond!
  • In and among the fjords and protected coves of Desolation sound, trainees can experience swimming in warm ocean water and refreshing lakes. Excursions often include a trip to an estuary to watch Grizzly bears and their cubs feeding and playing at the water line.
  •  This passage is a good combination of gentle waters and some exposed passage making near the northern end of Vancouver Island. With an abundance of wildlife to spot along the way, this portion of the west coast never ceases to delight.
  • Speckled with remote sandy beaches and misty forest views this coast line is breathtaking to explore.
